Thorntown Preschool

Dr. Kistler and Emily had such a fun time visiting the kiddos at Thorntown Preschool today! They spent the morning reading stories, talking about what it's like to be a veterinarian, and teaching the class how we help keep our furry friends happy and healthy.

The students learned about caring for pets, what happens during a vet visit, and the different ways veterinarians help animals every single day! We loved seeing all the smiles, questions, and excitement from these future animal lovers. Thank you, Thorntown Presschool, for having us - we had a paws-itively amazing time!

School-Aged

Dr. Stella had such a wonderful time teaching school-aged kids all about farm animals and the important role they play in our world! From cows and pigs to chickens and goats, the kids learned how farm animals help provide food, clothing, and so many everyday items we use.

The students also got to learn about some of the tools veterinarians use every day - including ultrasounds! Dr. Stella explained how ultrasounding patients helps veterinarians look inside the body to check on pregnancies, monitor animal health, and better care for farm animals without causing them discomfort.

Dr. Stella also talked about the importance of proper animal care, kindness, and how veterinarians help keep farm animals healthy and thriving. The students asked amazing questions and loved learning more about life on the farm and the animals that help our communities every day!
